Because I'm Sure You Were Curious...

A brief bio in bullet points

• I was born and raised in Spokane, WA.

• I moved to Bellingham, WA for college (WWU Crew!) and then to Seattle after I graduated.

• I have loved writing and creative expression for as long as I can remember, though I mostly expressed myself through dance until I was 13.

• I have, at various times in my life, wanted to be: a marine biologist, a professional dancer, a movie director, a novelist, a book store owner, a bar owner, and Lady Gaga's artistic director.

• Still, I am pretty happy that I have managed to make a living out of writing about funny cats, the Kardashians, and pop stars. 

• (I have also written a surprising amount of content for moms!)

• I have a minor in Film Studies, which simply means I wrote a lot of academic papers about Mulholland Dr. (my favorite movie), not that I learned how to make movies (unfortunately).

• The best book I've read (and re-read) recently is Hanya Yanagihara's A Little Life.

• When I'm not writing, editing, or strategizing, I am probably at karaoke.

• I am a good person to work with because I approach problem solving creatively, love to see my team members succeed, and care very deeply about doing the best that I can do. (I am my own harshest critic.)
